Monkey point:

The highest point in Kasauli is 20 KM away. Monkey point gives a beautiful view of Chandigarh region and the river Satluj. A temple is also situated on top of the hill which is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. According to a legend at the end of Ramayana when Lord Hanuman was returning from Himalayas after obtaining Sanjivani Booti his foot touched the hill and thus the top of the hill is in foot shape

Kasauli market:

Kasauli's mall road is most famous for its Bun Tikki and Samosa's. Just about ten kms away from the resort, the drive till there is mesmerising usually in winters. The markets also have the locally made wines which have a good taste and turn out to be cheap for one's pocket as well.

Sanawar:

Sanawar houses one of the best schools in the country. Lawrence school is almost 100 years old and considered to be the best.

Dharampur:

Dharampur is famous for the one of the best hospital in India for the cure of tuberculosis.

Sabathu:

Gurkha for built in the early years of the 19th century situated at a altitude of 1437m. This is a cantonment area which quartered the British soldiers at the time of British Empire.

Dagshai:

Another small cantonment at an altitude of 1925m and is famous Military Public School and many Military barracks.
